we made it

It was an uneventul trip out to Montana. I didn't even get any pictures, except when we loaded up the truck the morning we left:
We love it here so far. Our apartment is nothing to be excited about, of course, but we'll make it work. We're a short walk from downtown, and we've already enjoyed several different coffeeshops and restaurants on Main St.

The weather is phenomenally perfect! Everyone keeps saying, it's so hot here right now. But we're loving it--no humidity. We don't have air conditioning in our apartment, and even with temps in the low 90's, it's not a problem at all. I've been sleeping really well, and that's quite an accomplishment for me.

We went for more than a week without phone or internet. Now we're finally hooked up again. We still have a long ways to go with organizing and setting up out apartment. I'll post more pics when we've made better progress. Josh is getting nervous to teach, which is understandable.

For now, I'll leave you with a couple more photos from around here. We spent a lot of the past weekend at an arts festival, but we also managed to drive up to Bridger Bowl, one of the big downhill skiing resorts in the area (also lots of camping and hiking). So, just 15 minutes outside of town, this is the view:

We're off to Virginia on Thursday for my brother's wedding. More when we return.
