...right now. I'm very tired and losing my momentum a bit. But we're doing OK--definitely making some good progress and downsizing our possessions. Tomorrow we pick up the truck and load it up (with much-appreciated help, of course!). Then the next day it's off to Bozeman. I'm getting more and more excited every day, and feeling ready to unpack and live like a normal person again.

This past weekend we said most of our good-byes to many different people and did lots of driving. We drove our last drive from Vermillion to Sioux Center and back again! I will not miss that hour drive at all. On Saturday after we saw Josh's grandma and dad, we were off to Sioux Falls to go out for dinner with my parents and brother and sister-in-law. On our way, we got stuck in a huge storm:
It was pretty scary. This wasn't a normal thunderstorm or downpour. It felt creepy out (it was only the middle of the afternoon). When I saw all the crops on either side of the road bending in one direction from the wind, and the low-level clouds above us moving in the complete opposite direction, I started to feel sick to my stomach. Of course, we were out in the middle of nowhere, but we stopped at the first gas station. Lots of other drivers were there, and we watched the weather on the TV and saw that we were in the middle of a tornado warning. So we stayed there for a while, then we were back on the road. Just one more thing I'm looking forward to in Bozeman--no tornados.

The next time I write, it will probably be from Bozeman!
