...like this bat, who hung outside our front door for a good 24 hours. He was such a little, quiet thing. I hope he was OK.Anyway, it's time to get rid of that jubilant face from the last post, because that feeling didn't last very long. I hope it comes again, though, once I finish my paper and the grading. I just finished taking an exam. My brain is empty.
I haven't taken a shower in 3 days. Or really slept. So much to do yet.
Here's a picture from a couple of days ago, after a big storm came through the area. There were two rainbows!
Today when I was working, I looked out the window at those construction guys (all the walls are up now, so the picture above is not very accurate even though it's only 2 days old). One of the guys was wearing a shirt that said, "Free Mammograms." On the back it said, "Courtesy of the SDSU Rugby Team."
How... charming??

They appreciate the female body! You can't blame them!
Yeah, you can. You can appreciate the female body without being rude and obscene!
How come you always get to be the one to see stuff like that, Sarah? (the t-shirt and the bat) Oh, wait - I live in Sioux Center, what do I expect?
Have you had a mammogram, Gabe? I'm not sure 'appreciation' would be the word to describe it - perhaps "medically sanctioned abuse" is closer.
hey, are you in montana, yet?
hey, Dah. Are you home yet?
