It's been almost a week since we got back from Thunder Bay, and I haven't gotten around to posting about it. It's not because I've been busy--it's more like it finally feels like summer and I'm just enjoying relaxing in the evenings.
Anyway, the trip was fun. It's always good to reconnect with some crazy Canadian relatives. Just to prove that we were there, here are some pictures.
Josh says, "Don't bother me while I'm focusing on eating my icing."
Daniel with his tie flung over his shoulder, his nose covered in Vaseline, ready to race to the other side of the room and bury his face in cotton balls. Just another fun game played at Canadian wedding receptions.
Sarah says, "Stop taking pictures of me."
The happy couple dancing. Sorry that it's blurry and dark.
I know it's hard to see, but I needed documentation of the groom shaking a leg to "Who Let the Dogs Out." Woof! Woof!
On the way home, Josh needs his beauty sleep.

We didn't see any bears. However, I met another creature. We fell in love.
I WANT ONE.

Is that a chinchilla?
And is your weather lady wearing a bikini?
no, it's a dwarf rabbit. It's still a bunny, so it will get bigger and probably less cute. But not as big as wild rabbits. We stayed at Suzanne and Lambert's, and they had 7 or 8 of these little cuties. They breed them.
If you wrote your comment yesterday, the weather girl was probably wearing a bikini. It wasn't extremely hot, but it was very sticky and humid. Bet you can't wait 'til you come back to that!
So... Explain these crazy Canadian Wedding ceremonies to me, would you?
